Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator, use the correct 32/64-bit package, temporarily disable antivirus, and remove any older Ken-A-Vision/visualizer software before rebooting and retrying.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a USB 2.0 port instead of a hub, test a known-good cable, then check Device Manager for an unknown/USB video device. Uninstall it with “Delete driver software” and rescan.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old camera drivers and duplicate imaging apps, install only the latest Ken-A-Vision package, then select the 3.2MP AF Camera as the default video source in your capture software.
