Name: JWIN JCAM100 Driver
Author: JWIN

Question 1

Installer fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the JWIN JCAM100 setup as Administrator and in Windows compatibility mode for the listed OS. Disconnect other cameras/USB storage, pause antivirus temporarily, reboot, then retry.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port and a known data cable, not charge-only. Set the JCAM100 to PC/Storage mode rather than playback, then check Device Manager for an unknown imaging or portable device and reinstall from there.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous JWIN camera/TWAIN driver and remove the device in Device Manager with “delete driver software.” Reboot and install only the matching JCAM100 package; if Windows installs its own driver first, uninstall or roll it back before rerunning setup.
