Name: Jiachen JC 720H Driver
Author: Jiachen

Question 1

Install fails or Windows blocks the driver?

Accepted Answer

Run the JC 720H installer as administrator and use the correct 32/64-bit package. Disconnect the receipt printer until setup asks for it, then connect directly to a rear USB port. Restart before testing a print.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is powered on, paper cover is closed, and use a known-good USB cable without a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown USB devices or missing COM ports; for serial models, set the correct COM port and baud rate.

Question 3

Version conflicts or wrong port?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Jiachen/POS printer queues and driver packages in Print Management, reboot, then reinstall the matching JC 720H driver. Set the correct USB/COM port and avoid mixing generic ESC/POS drivers with the vendor driver.
