Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the JAMBOX, remove old Jawbone/Bluetooth audio entries in Device Manager, reboot, then install the Windows Bluetooth/audio driver before re-pairing. Run the installer as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Put the JAMBOX in pairing mode (hold the power/pair button until the LED flashes), enable Bluetooth on the PC, and set the JAMBOX as the default playback device. For USB Bluetooth dongles, try a rear USB port and re-pair.

Question 3

Version conflicts or no sound after update?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the current Bluetooth stack and JAMBOX pairing, restart, install the driver matching your Windows version, then pair again. Avoid mixing OEM and generic Bluetooth drivers.
