Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Jaton driver package as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and use Device Manager > Update driver > Browse to the extracted INF. For older Windows versions, try compatibility mode and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Card not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the graphics card, connect the monitor to the card’s output (not the motherboard), and check BIOS for PCIe/primary display settings. Try another PCIe slot and confirm PSU power if required.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing/conflicting GPU drivers with DDU in Safe Mode, install the matching Jaton package, then prevent Windows Update from automatically replacing it. Reboot and verify in Device Manager.
