Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Jabra SP700 DFU installer as administrator, close Jabra PC Suite and other Bluetooth software, and temporarily disable antivirus. Reboot before retrying and do not unplug the SP700 during installation.

Question 2

Device not detected in DFU mode?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the SP700 is actually in DFU mode per Jabra’s instructions, use a known-good data-capable USB cable and a direct rear USB port, and avoid hubs. Check Device Manager for unknown/USB device entries and refresh.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Jabra SP700/DFU drivers and Jabra PC Suite components, remove stale Bluetooth pairings, then install the latest package. If Windows keeps an old driver, use Device Manager > Update driver > Let me pick and select the current Jabra driver.
