Name: Jabra BT8030 Driver
Author: Jabra

Question 1

Install fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator, close Jabra/Bluetooth software and Windows Bluetooth settings, then reboot. If the BT8030 was previously paired, remove it in Settings > Bluetooth & devices before reinstalling.

Question 2

Headset not detected?

Accepted Answer

Charge the BT8030, then hold its multifunction/power button until the LED flashes to enter pairing mode. Ensure Windows Bluetooth is on and the adapter is enabled; re-pair instead of selecting an old “Jabra BT8030” entry.

Question 3

Version conflicts/duplicate drivers?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Jabra software and duplicate Bluetooth headset entries in Device Manager, reboot, and install only the latest Windows-compatible package. Avoid mixing vendor utilities with the Windows Bluetooth stack.
