Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the InnoDV setup as administrator and try Windows compatibility mode for the OS the TVideo 650 package supports. If Windows blocks an older unsigned tuner driver, install it manually through Device Manager after temporarily disabling driver signature enforcement.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the TVideo 650 card/capture unit and check Device Manager for an unknown multimedia controller. Install motherboard chipset drivers; for PCI models, try another slot. Confirm tuner/capture inputs and power are connected.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous InnoDV driver and TV software, remove hidden devices, reboot, then install only the 32-bit or 64-bit package matching Windows. Avoid mixing Windows Update drivers with the vendor package.
