Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove older InfoPrint/Ricoh Color 1614 drivers in Print Management, reboot, then run the installer as administrator. Use the package matching your Windows architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, connect directly to a rear port with a known-good cable. For network, confirm the printer IP and TCP/IP port 9100 reachability, then add a Standard TCP/IP port manually.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Universal Print Driver or PCL/PS variants before installing the model-specific Color 1614 Express driver. Avoid mixing driver versions, reboot, and set the new driver as default.
