Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the InfoPrint Color 1534 driver installer as administrator and use Windows compatibility mode for your OS version. Remove any partially installed Color 1534 printer entry before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the Color 1534 is powered on and connected by USB or network. For network use, assign a static IP and create a standard TCP/IP port matching the printer’s address; avoid auto-discovery if it fails.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older IBM/InfoPrint Color 1534 drivers and ports in Print Management, reboot, then install the correct 32-bit/64-bit package for your Windows version. Set the new Color 1534 driver as default only after a test print.
