Rating: 4.5 (5 reviews)
Author: Imagistics

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The DL460 driver is legacy. Run setup as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode, reboot, and retry. Disable driver signature enforcement only if the package is unsigned.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the DL460 printer/copier is powered on and connected to the correct USB or parallel port. Try another cable/port, restart the Print Spooler service, then add the printer manually using the DL460 port.

Question 3

Version or port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Imagistics DL460 entries and leftover USB/TCP-IP ports in Print Management. Match the 32-bit/64-bit driver to Windows, then reinstall cleanly.
