Question 1

Driver install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Close any app using the INFINITY lite camera, run the manufacturer’s installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus blocking. If setup still fails, uninstall the previous INFINITY lite package, reboot, then reinstall.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown device” or an imaging/USB camera entry, uninstall it, and scan for hardware changes. Try another USB cable/port.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Windows Update may install a generic USB Video Device driver over the manufacturer’s INFINITY lite driver. In Device Manager, uninstall the camera and select “Delete driver software,” reboot, and reinstall the vendor driver. Avoid mixing old and new INFINITY lite packages.
