Name: IdeaCom HID Touch Screen Driver
Author: IDeACOM

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the IdeaCom installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and confirm the package matches your Windows version/architecture. Remove any older IdeaCom touch driver first, reboot, then reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the USB cable and try another port. In Device Manager, use Scan for hardware changes and check under Human Interface Devices and Mice and other pointing devices for the touch screen or unknown HID device.

Question 3

Version conflicts/multiple touch drivers?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older IdeaCom/HID touch entries in Device Manager, choose Delete the driver software, reboot, and install only the latest vendor package. Avoid letting Windows Update replace it unless the touch input stops working.
