Author: Icatch

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the ICatch driver installer as administrator and allow any Windows driver-signing prompt. Disconnect the camera during setup, reboot, then reconnect.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port, preferably directly on the PC rather than a hub. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown device” or a yellow warning under Imaging devices/USB controllers, then scan for hardware changes.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any existing ICatch (VI) PC Camera or VI Camera driver in Device Manager, select “Delete the driver software,” reboot, and then install the matching driver version. Avoid mixing older ICatch packages with Windows’ inbox camera driver.
