Name: iBall Face2Face Webcam CHD 20.0 Driver
Author: iBall

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the iBall CHD 20.0 installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and connect the webcam only when setup asks. If it still fails, uninstall any previous iBall/webcam driver in Device Manager and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown device” or a camera with a warning icon; uninstall it, replug the webcam, and scan for hardware changes. Also confirm Windows camera privacy access is enabled.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows updates?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, uninstall the old camera driver and select “Delete driver software,” reboot, then install the CHD 20.0 package matching your Windows version and architecture. Avoid keeping overlapping generic USB video drivers.
