Name: Huawei Y541 U02 Driver
Author: Huawei

Question 1

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

On the Huawei Y541 U02, set USB mode to MTP/PTP, enable USB debugging for ADB use, try a different data-capable cable, and connect to a rear USB 2.0 port rather than a hub.

Question 2

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Huawei driver installer as administrator. If Windows blocks it, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then reinstall and re-enable it afterward.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Huawei HiSuite/ADB/USB drivers first, reboot, then install the Y541 U02-compatible driver. In Device Manager, remove any yellow-triangle entry and scan for hardware changes before reinstalling.
