Name: Huawei Mobile Connect Bus Enumerate Device Driver
Author: Huawei

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Huawei modem, uninstall any existing Huawei Mobile Connect/PC UI driver, reboot, then run the driver installer as administrator in Windows compatibility mode.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB port/cable, avoid hubs, and check Device Manager for “Bus Enumerate Device” with a warning icon. Reconnect the modem after the driver install and allow Windows to finish enumerating the composite/modem interfaces.

Question 3

Version conflicts or yellow bang?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Huawei Mobile Connect entries and leftover COM ports in Device Manager (show hidden devices), then reinstall the matching driver version. Do not mix PC UI and standalone driver packages.
