Name: Huawei Mobile CMCC Connect Network Adapter Driver
Author: Huawei

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Huawei/CMCC installer as administrator, disconnect the adapter until prompted, and temporarily disable antivirus. If Windows blocks an unsigned driver, check the package supports your Windows version and architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port instead of a hub, try another cable/port, and check Device Manager under Network adapters, Modems, or Ports. Uninstall any yellow-marked Huawei entry, reboot, then reconnect the adapter.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Huawei Mobile Connect/CMCC drivers via Programs and Features and Device Manager before installing the matching package. Avoid mixing generic Windows Update drivers with the vendor installer; reboot after removal.
