Name: HUE HD Webcam Audio Driver
Author: HUE

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Close apps using the camera (Teams, Zoom, OBS), disconnect the HUE HD Webcam Audio, run the installer as administrator, then reconnect to a direct USB port—not a hub—when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB port/cable, check Device Manager for unknown devices, and confirm Windows camera/microphone privacy settings allow apps. In conferencing apps, select “HUE HD Webcam Audio” for both camera and microphone.

Question 3

Version conflicts or audio glitches?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older HUE software and the device in Device Manager (delete driver), restart, then install the latest package from the manufacturer. Avoid mixing generic USB audio drivers with HUE drivers; set the HUE mic as default input if sound is missing.
