Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the UsbDk installer as Administrator, close apps that may be using USB devices, and reboot if prompted. Ensure you are using a signed UsbDk build matching your Windows architecture; Secure Boot or driver-signature enforcement can block unsigned packages.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the UsbDk service is running, reconnect the USB device, and check Device Manager for unknown or hidden devices. If another driver such as WinUSB/libusb or VM software has claimed the device, release it and retry.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older UsbDk versions and dependent USB-redirection apps, reboot, then install the latest compatible build. Avoid mixing 32-bit and 64-bit components, and verify the app expecting UsbDk supports the installed version.
