Name: HiTi P525L Driver
Author: HiTi

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the HiTi P525L installer as administrator and temporarily disable antivirus/security prompts. Remove any existing P525L printer queue first, reboot, then reinstall the driver before connecting the USB cable.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the P525L directly to a USB 2.0 port on the PC, not through a hub. Use a known-good USB cable, power the printer on, then check Device Manager for an unknown device and reinstall the driver if needed.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older HiTi drivers and related photo-print utilities via Print Management and Apps & Features. Reboot and install the latest P525L driver matching your Windows version and architecture; avoid forcing a generic printer driver.
