Name: Havit Gamepad Driver
Author: OmniKey

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Havit/OmniKey setup as administrator, close game clients, and temporarily disable antivirus. If Windows blocks the package, uninstall any older OmniKey gamepad driver in Device Manager, reboot, then retry.

Question 2

Gamepad not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port/cable, avoid hubs, and open `joy.cpl` to confirm Windows sees the controller. Rescan in Device Manager; if it has XInput/DInput modes, switch mode and reconnect.

Question 3

Version conflicts/duplicate devices?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, uninstall the Havit Gamepad and check “Delete the driver software,” reboot, then install the latest OmniKey driver. Remove stale hidden controller entries so old versions do not load.
