Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Extract the HH241 driver package first, then use Device Manager > Monitors > Update driver > Browse my computer and select the extracted folder. Run setup as administrator; if Windows rejects an older INF, use the manual browse method instead of the installer.

Question 2

Monitor not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the HH241 has power and the correct input (VGA/DVI) selected, reseat or replace the video cable, and try another GPU port. In Device Manager, check under Monitors; if only “Generic PnP Monitor” appears, scan for hardware changes and update the driver manually.

Question 3

Version conflicts/generic driver override?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the existing monitor entry, tick “Delete the driver software,” restart, then reinstall the Hanns.G INF. Avoid duplicate or older Hanns-G packages and confirm the HH241 entry is active under Monitors.
