Name: Mustek 1200 UB Plus Scanner Driver
Author: Mustek

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Mustek 1200 UB Plus installer as administrator in Windows compatibility mode. If Windows blocks the legacy driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then reinstall and reboot.

Question 2

Scanner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown/USB device errors, try a different cable, and reconnect the scanner only after the driver installation finishes.

Question 3

Driver/TWAIN conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Mustek scanner drivers and stale TWAIN entries first, reboot, then install the correct 32-bit or 64-bit package. Avoid mixing drivers from other Mustek models.
