Name: Moxa UPort 1110 Driver
Author: Moxa

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Moxa UPort/Serial drivers from Apps & Features and Device Manager, reboot, then run the UPort 1110 installer as administrator with the adapter unplugged. Connect it only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB port/cable and check Device Manager for “Moxa USB Serial Port” or an unknown device. If unknown, update the driver manually via “Browse my computer” to the extracted Moxa driver folder.

Question 3

COM port/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, enable “Show hidden devices,” uninstall stale Moxa COM ports, then replug the UPort 1110. Assign a fixed COM number not used by other USB-serial adapters, and avoid mixing old and new Moxa driver versions.
