Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator, then use Device Manager > Update driver > Browse > “Let me pick” and select the Motorola XT926 under Android Device/ADB Interface. Disable Windows driver-signature enforcement if the package is unsigned.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Enable USB debugging and set USB mode to MTP/PTP, use a known data cable and a direct rear USB 2.0 port, and check Device Manager for unknown devices.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Motorola USB/ADB and Google ADB drivers, delete driver software, reboot, then reinstall the latest Motorola/ADB driver. If ADB shows “unauthorized,” revoke USB debugging authorizations and reconnect.
