Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Motorola Solutions device, run the driver package as administrator, and temporarily pause antivirus. Reboot, then reconnect only when setup prompts.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port and the original cable—no hub. Check Device Manager for “Unknown Device” or a Motorola entry; update manually via Browse my computer and confirm the radio/scanner is powered and in the correct USB mode.

Question 3

Version conflicts (Code 10/52)?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the old Motorola Solutions driver and related USB serial entries, including hidden devices. Reboot, then install the latest package; avoid mixing drivers from older programming software.
