Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Motion C5 driver package as administrator. For older packages, use Compatibility Mode for the Windows version the driver was released for, remove any previous Motion driver, and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Touch, pen, or tablet buttons not detected?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, enable View > Show hidden devices, uninstall stale Motion/input devices, then rescan. Confirm the C5’s internal input devices are enabled and reboot before reinstalling.

Question 3

Version conflicts after updating?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the existing Motion Dashboard/input driver first, reboot, then install in order: chipset, graphics, touch/pen/buttons. Do not mix driver packages from different C5 releases; match the package to your Windows build.
