Author: MosChip

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the MosChip installer as administrator and match it to your Windows architecture. Remove any previous MosChip PCI parallel-port driver in Device Manager first, then reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the PCI card and check Device Manager for an unknown device or yellow warning. Confirm the card is enabled in BIOS and that the parallel port is set to ECP mode if available.

Question 3

Version conflicts / wrong LPT port?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old or inbox LPT drivers, select “Delete driver software,” reboot, and install only the current MosChip package. Avoid mixing drivers from different MosChip PCI ECP cards.
