The Matrox Graphics TripleHead2Go Analog Edition (GXM) connects up to three analog monitors to a compatible computer’s graphics output, creating a wider workspace across multiple screens. Its Matrox driver and display-management software help configure the module, select supported display modes, and organize the expanded desktop.

Key Features

  • Multi-monitor configuration: Set up connected displays as a wide desktop for working with documents, creative applications, monitoring tools, or other multi-window tasks.
  • Display mode control: Configure supported resolutions and refresh rates to suit your monitors and the capabilities of your computer’s graphics hardware.
  • Desktop management: Compatible Matrox PowerDesk software provides tools for arranging windows and managing how applications use the available screen space.
  • Works with your existing GPU: The TripleHead2Go is an external Graphics eXpansion Module, not a replacement graphics card. Its software works alongside your computer’s graphics driver to manage the connected display setup.

How to Install

  1. Check the download’s compatibility. Identify whether your PC runs Windows 11, 10, 8, or 7, then confirm that the package explicitly supports your Windows version, system architecture, and the TripleHead2Go Analog Edition. Do not assume that software for another TripleHead2Go model is interchangeable.
  2. Prepare the hardware. Connect the module to a compatible analog graphics output and attach your monitors using the appropriate VGA cables. Connect the required power source and make sure the displays are switched on.
  3. Download and extract the package. Save the appropriate Matrox software locally. If it arrives as a compressed archive, extract its contents before launching the installer.
  4. Run the setup program. Allow administrator access when prompted and follow the installation instructions. Restart Windows if the installer requests it.
  5. Configure and test your displays. Open the installed Matrox utility and Windows display settings to choose a supported desktop resolution. Check screen alignment and window placement before settling on your preferred layout.

Available display combinations depend on the host GPU, its output capabilities, cabling, and monitor specifications. If a desired resolution is unavailable, check those requirements and your existing GPU driver before reinstalling the Matrox software.
