Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Graphtec GX3000 driver installer as Administrator and reboot before retrying. If Windows blocks an older package, check that it matches your Windows version and 32/64-bit system; avoid mixing it with a newer Cutting Master/plotter driver.

Question 2

Plotter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the GX3000 before opening the cutting software, reseat the USB/RS-232 cable, and confirm the correct interface is selected on the plotter. Check Device Manager for an unknown or conflicting port and rescan.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Graphtec plotter drivers and old port entries in Device Manager before installing the GX3000 package. Reboot, then install only the driver version recommended for your cutting software.
