Author: Graphtec

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Graphtec installer as administrator, close Cutting Plotter Controller/CE1000 software, and keep the plotter disconnected until prompted. Use the CE1000-60 driver package matching Windows 32/64-bit.

Question 2

Plotter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the CE1000-60 is online, use the correct USB/serial cable or adapter, and set the same COM port and serial settings in the software as on the plotter—typically 9600 baud, 8-N-1, hardware flow control.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Graphtec drivers/Controller software, remove stale COM ports in Device Manager, reboot, then install the CE1000-60 driver before the cutting software. Avoid mixing old 32-bit drivers with 64-bit Windows.
