Name: Gestetner P7431cn Driver
Author: Gestetner

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

The P7431cn’s older installer may fail on Windows 10/11 or with WSD ports. Run the package as administrator, remove any partial install, and add the printer using a Standard TCP/IP port with the correct Gestetner PCL6 or PS driver.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the P7431cn has a valid IP address and is on the same subnet. Disable WSD discovery, add a TCP/IP port manually, or test with a direct USB connection to rule out network issues.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Old Gestetner or Ricoh PCL/PS drivers and stale printer ports can conflict. Uninstall previous drivers and ports, reboot, then install the matching P7431cn driver package only.
