Name: Gestetner 6002 Driver
Author: Gestetner

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Gestetner 6002 driver installer as administrator and match Windows architecture (32/64-bit). Disconnect the USB cable until prompted; for network installs, confirm the printer’s IP is reachable and Windows Update is not blocking the package.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB cable/port or network connection, then restart the Print Spooler service. Add the printer manually using the correct TCP/IP port or USB port rather than relying on auto-detection.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Gestetner/Ricoh printer drivers and leftover queues before installing the new package. Reboot, then install the current 6002 driver; if upgrading, use Printer Properties > Advanced > New Driver to replace the old driver cleanly.
