Name: Genius SPEED WHEEL 3 VIBRATION Driver
Author: Genius

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the wheel first, run the Genius installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Reboot before reconnecting the wheel directly to a rear USB port—not a hub—so Windows does not install a generic gamepad driver mid-setup.

Question 2

Wheel not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the power/USB connection, open `joy.cpl` and recalibrate. If it is missing, use Device Manager to uninstall any Unknown Device or wheel entry, then rescan. Test in a game that supports direct input controllers.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Genius software and any duplicate “HID-compliant game controller” entries for the wheel, reboot, then install the latest package before plugging in the SPEED WHEEL 3 VIBRATION again.
