Question 1

Installer fails or stalls on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The G Pen 4500 uses older drivers. Run the installer as administrator, set Compatibility Mode to Windows 7, and disconnect the tablet until setup asks for it.

Question 2

Tablet not detected / pen has no movement?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for unknown USB or HID devices. Try a different USB port directly on the PC, avoid hubs, and reseat the pen tablet cable. Reboot before reinstalling the driver.

Question 3

Pressure sensitivity stops or driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall other tablet drivers (Wacom, XP-Pen, older Genius packages) and remove duplicate HID tablet entries. Reboot, then install only the matching G Pen 4500 driver package.
