Name: Genesys Logic HE 100 Driver
Author: Genesys Logic

Question 1

Install fails or Code 10/28?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the HE 100 card reader, uninstall any existing Genesys Logic/USB Mass Storage entry in Device Manager (including hidden devices), reboot, then run the installer as administrator. Reconnect the reader only when setup asks or after installation.

Question 2

Reader not detected?

Accepted Answer

Test a rear USB port and a known-good cable; avoid unpowered hubs. Check Disk Management for the card, reseat the media, and confirm the card is not write-protected or unsupported.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Genesys Logic packages before installing the latest Windows-certified driver. If Windows keeps loading a generic mass-storage driver, use Roll Back Driver or uninstall the device, rescan hardware, and reinstall.
