Name: GCC Sable USB Driver
Author: GCC

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the GCC Sable USB driver installer as administrator and use the package matching your Windows version. Check that the driver is signed; don’t mix 32-bit/64-bit or older Sable packages.

Question 2

Sable not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the laser engraver directly to a rear USB port with a known-good cable, not a hub. Power-cycle the Sable and PC, then check Device Manager for an unknown USB device and reinstall the USB driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous GCC/Sable USB driver, remove hidden devices in Device Manager, reboot, then install the latest driver. Prevent Windows from auto-installing a generic driver over the GCC package.
