Name: EDIROL UA 25EX Driver
Author: Edirol

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the UA-25EX, close DAWs/audio apps, run the Edirol installer as administrator, reboot, then reconnect. Prevent Windows from installing a generic USB audio driver first.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port instead of a hub, try a known-good cable, and confirm the UA-25EX is in Advanced/driver mode if you need ASIO/low-latency operation. Check Device Manager for unknown USB audio devices.

Question 3

Version conflicts/old driver?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Edirol/Roland UA drivers, remove hidden audio devices in Device Manager, reboot, then install the matching Windows 32/64-bit package. Avoid mixing old and new driver versions.
